Embrace Bora Bora's pristine natural beauty in this exciting off-road adventure along the road less traveled. With your guide at the wheel, expect a bumpy ride with steep ascents and descents, enjoying some breathtaking sightseeing.


Driving through the small town of Vaitape on the shore of Pofai Bay, you'll ascend Pahonu Hill. Here, you will find expansive views of Bora Bora's natural harbor and Matira Beach. Some more off-road adventure driving takes you to the cannons still standing in their original World War II locations. Along the way, you’ll make a stop at a pareo house where these hand-made sarongs are made.


Travel along the northern shore of Bora Bora into the lush valley of Faanui, pass by Marae, and view Faanui Bay from a traditional plantation high up in the mountains. On your return, pass by Matira beach, famous public beach of the island.


Need to Know:

Note: This tour is not available to guests who utilize a wheelchair or have limited mobility. Participants must be able to manage one high step to get on/off the vehicle. Tour involves rough off-road driving with steep ascents and descents. This tour is not recommended for guests with back, hip or neck injuries, those who suffer motion sickness or vertigo or pregnant women. Vehicles have no air-conditioning and each seats a maximum of 8 passengers. Large families/groups may be split into different vehicles.
